I am a good friend, listener and confidant. People think I am confident and happy all the time but that is because I am a people person. I also have a very introverted reclusive side.

I am a people person and very sensitive and compassionate. I also can be opinionated and stubborn. I am extremely loyal to a fault and love to help people, especially the underdog. I am a recovering alcoholic and survivor of sexual abuse. I am an artist, writer, reader, mother, grandmother and wife. I also teach watercolors and other art mediums.

Interests

Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

Many many kinds of music, too much to mention, but love the oldies, 60's and on music. I love some folk music, some country, and rock and roll love Carol King the Beatles, Rolling Stones, James Blunt, Five for Fighting, Christian music, both new and traditional. I love a group called She Waits for Night and an album called Uncle Earl. Fantastic folk CD
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

New writer, Lesley Kegan, fantastic book called Whistling in the Dark, Blood Orange, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Autobiographies, etc.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Prince of Tides, Mr. Holland's Opus, Lost Boys, Real Women Have Curves, Too Many to Mention, The Others, and the Other.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

Loved Six Feet Under, went through withdrawal when it was cancelled. Everybody Loves Raymond, Ghost Whisperer
Favorite Places:

Home, and all around the area. I love Shipshewana, I love Mexico and Texas, Honduras, and Belise Grand Caymans, only been on a cruise once and by God and heaven I want to go again.
Interests and Activities:

Art, music, reading, writing, paranormal, psychology, recovery, mental health, children, teenagers angst. movies.
Wish List:

Bills paid, health, happiness, writing my autobiography and short stories. Of course health and happiness for everyone and world peace, snicker, like that is going to happen.

Please forgive me for not responding to your ping sooner. I forgot to check them. Actually I don't have breast cancer, my mom did, it was her third brush with cancer. Cancer runs through our family.
